Wingfest Birmingham 2025 Highlights

On the 15th, 16th and 17th August, the Oakmans team set up at Wingfest Birmingham at The Hockey Social, and what a weekend it was!
Known for serving up the best chicken wings in the country, Wingfest brought together foodies, families and festival vibes in the heart of Birmingham. For us, it was the perfect chance to get involved in the fun, meet loads of people and bring something a little different to the party.
Our stand featured a full Porsche GT3 racing simulator, where festival goers had the chance to race around Silverstone for free. To say it was popular would be an understatement, the queue for a go was constant from start to finish. From competitive racers to complete beginners, everyone gave it their all to set the fastest lap time and be in with a chance of winning £100. The winning time over the weekend was an impressive 1 minute 4 seconds!
The atmosphere was buzzing with the smell of incredible wings in the air, music playing and people cheering each other on at the simulator. It was great to be part of something that brought so much energy to the city, and to spend the weekend chatting with people from all over Birmingham.
