Oakmans Supports Cure Leukaemia at Tour De Touchwood
July 2026
At Oakmans, supporting our local communities is about more than just donations. It's about getting involved, giving back and making a real difference where we can.
As part of our ongoing commitment to donate £250 every week to local charities, a campaign that will see £13,000 donated throughout the year, we were proud to support Cure Leukaemia by taking part in Tour De Touchwood, a 24 hour indoor cycling challenge organised by Davisons Law.
Held at Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull, the event brought together businesses from across the region with one ambitious goal, to collectively cycle the full distance of the Tour de France over 24 continuous hours. Thanks to an incredible effort from everyone involved, the teams didn't just reach their target, they surpassed it, cycling more than 3,700 kilometres for Cure Leukaemia.
Representing Oakmans were five members of our team, who took on a one hour relay slot alongside dozens of other local businesses. It was a fantastic opportunity to support an incredible cause, work together as a team, and play our part in helping the event exceed its fundraising challenge.
Cure Leukaemia funds pioneering blood cancer research and helps provide patients with access to potentially life saving treatments. Every kilometre cycled during the event helped raise awareness and vital funds to support this important work.

We're incredibly proud to have been involved and would like to thank Davisons Law for organising such an inspiring community event. Seeing so many local businesses come together for a cause that changes lives was a brilliant reminder of what can be achieved when a community works towards a common goal.

Our £250 a week charity campaign continues throughout the year, with a different charity or community organisation receiving a donation every week.
If you know a charity, community group or local cause that deserves a little extra support, we'd love to hear about it. Whether they're a national charity or a small local organisation making a difference in the community, we'd like to consider them for a future donation.
