Supporting Little Princess Trust - Giving Back to a Cause That Matters

At Oakmans, supporting good causes is a big part of who we are. We’re proud to work with charities that are close to our hearts and make a real difference to people’s lives.

Earlier this year, we were incredibly proud of our very own Jess from the Property Management team, who donated 16 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust - a charity that provides real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions.

A Personal Donation That Inspired Us All

Jess’s decision to cut and donate her hair was a powerful gesture, and one that quickly became much more than a personal moment. Her kindness inspired the wider Oakmans team to get involved and give back too.

To show our support for both Jess and the charity, we made a £1,000 donation to the Little Princess Trust. It was our way of helping the charity continue its brilliant work - not just providing wigs, but also funding vital research into childhood cancers.

Why We Support Local and National Charities

Whether it’s supporting national organisations like the Little Princess Trust or backing causes closer to home, giving back is part of our culture here at Oakmans. We’ve supported several amazing charities over the years - from Birmingham Hospice to the British Heart Foundation - and we’re always looking for ways to do more as we grow.

Our teams across Bromsgrove, Northfield, Selly Oak, Harborne and Shirley are proud to be part of the communities we work in, and that includes doing our bit to support the people and causes that matter most.
