Our weekly charity giveaway is now in full swing, and January has been an incredible start. Every single week, we've been able to put £250 straight into the hands of local charities that are changing lives across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
From community wellbeing projects to health charities and family support services, the first month alone has shown just how powerful this initiative really is when it comes to backing the people doing the hard work on the ground.
Here's a look at the brilliant charities we supported in January and the impact they're making.
Birmingham Settlement
We kicked things off by supporting Birmingham Settlement, a charity focused on bringing people together and building stronger, healthier communities.
Their Nature and Wellbeing Centre gives local people access to outdoor spaces, practical environmental projects and wellbeing support. From gardening and conservation to mental health-focused activities, they create safe and welcoming places where people can learn, connect and feel supported.

Northfield Community Partnership
In week two, we donated to Northfield Community Partnership, an organisation doing vital work right in the heart of South Birmingham.
They provide a wide range of support including employment advice, a food bank, benefits guidance and help for people facing financial or personal challenges. For many families, this kind of local support can be the difference between coping and crisis.

Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer
Week three saw us support Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer, a charity dedicated to helping women and men affected by breast cancer across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
They provide emotional support, practical help and a strong community for people going through one of the toughest experiences of their lives. Whether it's someone newly diagnosed or someone navigating life after treatment, this charity makes sure nobody has to face it alone.

Little Hearts Matter
We rounded off January by supporting Little Hearts Matter, the only UK charity dedicated to families living with half a working heart.
They offer trusted information, emotional support and a national network that connects families from diagnosis through every stage of life. Even though they work across the country, their impact is felt right here in our community too, helping local families feel understood, supported and less alone.

A Powerful Start to the Year
Four weeks, four amazing charities and £1,000 already donated - January has shown exactly why this campaign matters. Every organisation we've supported is doing something different, but they all share one thing in common: they're making life better for people in our communities.
