Supporting Our Community in 2026: £4,000 Donated So Far
April 2026
At Oakmans, supporting the local community isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we actively build into what we do. This year, we launched a campaign to give back in a more consistent and meaningful way. Every single week, we're donating £250 to a registered charity in our local community. The aim is simple, to support causes that matter and help shine a light on the incredible work being done across the areas we operate in.
With six branches now covering Redditch, Bromsgrove, Selly Oak, Harborne, Northfield and Shirley, we’re now able to support charities across a much wider area. This means more local organisations can benefit, and more communities can be reached. Rather than focusing on just one type of charity, we’ve worked with a wide mix, from community groups and food banks to hospices and animal rescue centres.
Since launching the campaign, we’ve supported a growing number of charities, donating a total of £4,000 so far:
Birmingham Settlement

We know that many charities rely heavily on donations and local support to continue their work. By committing to a weekly donation, it allows us to support more charities over time and gives us the chance to regularly highlight different causes across our platforms. It’s about giving back to the communities that support us every day.
