I can't speak highly enough of the service we have received from Oakmans when selling my late father's house. From the first meeting to discuss the valuation of the property with Laura to completion date, Oakmans have been nothing but professional throughout with customers at the heart of everything they do. We have been dealing with Laura, Charlee and Trina and they have been so helpful and the communication has been outstanding. The team at Oakmans Estate Agents made the house-buying experience so much easier and better. From picture quality at listing (high quality pictures without using an overly exaggerated wide angle lens) through to sales progression, Oakmans seem to be one of the best estate agents to work with as a buyer. Bethany from the Sales Progression team at Northfield was incredibly helpful and kind - mediating and negotiating thoughtfully between buyer and seller and asking the questions that solicitors can't help with. She kept the sale progressing and managed expectations exceptionally, keeping us up to date when we weren't getting much information. Highly recommend Oakmans Northfield if you're looking to buy or sell a property with good support and communication!

I will be honest and say, it was a bumpy ride at the start. I’ve just exchanged contracts on the sale of my house, and after some difficult emails back and forth with potential offers and eventual buyers, we managed to find enough common ground to move forward.

The latter end of the process was much smoother, in no small part to Candy. What a clear speaking, no nonsense type of agent she is. Right from the moment she took over the sale of the house, I felt in very safe hands. She spoke directly, and used her many years experience in the industry to push the buyers into making clear decisions when it seemed they were not being advised very well by their legal advisor.

I have to say - my review wouldn’t have been five stars without coming into contact with her. I believe she is a new member of the team, and one in my opinion, Oakmans should hold on to.

In stressful situations - you need a clear thinking, unbiased and clinical mindset. When you’re selling your home, most homeowners do not have this. Candy provided the calm required and liaised with all appropriate bodies to find proper resolution with her no-nonsense approach.

Oakmans have a winner on their hands in her, and I would happily sell another property through Oakmans with Candy as Sale Progressor again.
